Salerno offers a range of accommodation possibilities, including hotels, bed & breakfasts and hostels. December is a great time to visit, as Salerno lights up with its famous 'Luci d'Artista' to illuminate the streets in celebration of the holiday season. However due to the popularity of this event, the city becomes particularly busy during this period, so booking early is highly recommended. 

Although the university campus is located in Fisciano, we recommend that you book your stay in Salerno, as the city is more lively at night and offers a wide range of options for meals or leisure alternatives. 

 

​If you wish to take a look at possible hotels and B&Bs, we recommend that you aim to stay as close as possible to the city centre (near Piazza della Concordia, the train station, close to corso Vittorio Emanuele).
